Confidas People are delighted to continue their support of Heriot’s Rugby Club as the FOSROC Super6 Championship gets underway this month.
Heriot’s kick-off their Super6 campaign against Ayrshire Bulls on Friday night, before travelling to Stirling Wolves the following weekend. They then return to Goldenacre for an Edinburgh derby against Watsonian’s on Saturday, August 20.
Confidas People struck a partnership with Heriot’s at the inception of Super6 rugby and remain the training shirt sponsor for all of the club’s squads.
Confidas People director Bruce Douglas came through the ranks at Goldenacre, where he was both a player and more recently a coach, and he is thrilled to maintain his strong links with the club.
Bruce said: “We are all very proud to sponsor Heriot’s, who mean an enormous amount to me personally having spent so many years there.
“From first arriving as a four-year-old, becoming a ball boy and progressing to the senior team, Heriot’s has always been a big part of my life and it is a privilege to sponsor the club.
“It promises to be a great season and we send our best wishes to Stuart Edwards, Finn Gilles and the squad for what lies ahead.
“Supporting such a well-known club, who contribute so much to the local community, is really important to us and this is a partnership which will continue to go from strength to strength.”
