Meet our team

Our dedicated referencing team remove the time and administrative burden on investors to investigate and confirm track record, strengths and previous achievements of the management team members. Our team of experienced consultants possess diverse experience involving psychology, HR, recruitment, private equity and professional sport. When combined, this allows us to create practical, actionable recommendations and insights that contribute to the value creation plan and help management team members scale with the business.

We have no associates and all team members are employed by Confidas People. This allows our team members develop the specific expertise required to accurately assess management teams, and work with as many management teams as possible to continually build relevant knowledge and enhance their experience. The outcome of this is a team with the skills and capacity to handle complex projects at pace, and deliver to our client’s requirements under tight timelines.

Bruce Douglas


Bruce founded Confidas People in 2017, having successfully transitioned from a career in professional sport, which spanned almost 20 years.

From a background in sport, Bruce appreciates the urgency to deliver and perform consistently at a high level, something that is also essential within an investor backed business. Another similarity the worlds of professional sport and backing management teams share is that to be successful, there is a complete reliance on others to deliver. In both arenas, the value and reassurance of a thorough due diligence or selection process cannot be underestimated.

Bruce gained a degree in applied psychology and physiology, then a postgraduate masters in organisational psychology while amassing a wealth of experience in recruitment and executive search, predominantly in the finance sector. This enables Bruce to deliver a scientific approach to assessment, which leads to practical, actionable advice and outcomes to ensure people and businesses perform to the very best of their ability.

Helen Davies

Operations & Engagement Director

Helen is responsible for the internal management of the business and leads the referencing team, ensuring we fulfil and exceed all of our clients requirements and expectations, while managing the welfare of the Confidas People team.

Having spent almost a decade in professional sport, combining roles as a Player and Family Liaison and Key Account Manager, Helen is a highly organised and passionate people-person with extensive commercial experience, including organising major fundraising events and managing the accounts of several FTSE 100 companies, including Jaguar Land Rover, LexisNexis Risk Solutions and UberEats.

Lisa Brown

Senior Management Consultant

Lisa has more than a decade’s experience in organisational and forensic psychology. Having previously worked in prison and probation services, Lisa is skilled in interviewing challenging, and at times confrontational individuals. She brings vast experience in risk assessment and psychometric profiling to Confidas People as Senior Management Consultant. This enables Lisa to provide powerful insights, advise clients and guide management teams to maximize their effectiveness. Lisa first graduated from Ulster University with a degree in psychology in 2011, and then completed a Masters degree in forensic psychology from the University of York.

Sarah Pridham

Management Consultant – Referencing

Sarah is part of the referencing team which is a crucial component of any management due diligence project.

Prior to joining Confidas People, Sarah gained diverse experience in a vast and varied career, working in the finance sector, carrying out research for the Office of National Statistics and also spending time in the beauty industry. This has provided Sarah with the ability to connect with people quickly, manage conversations diplomatically, but still extract the relevant insights required.

Jack Watters

Management Consultant

After gaining his Economics degree from Cardiff University, Jack spent 6 years with the finance practice of a FTSE 250 multinational recruitment business, managing teams covering the South West. In 2019 Jack relocated to the Caribbean, launching and leading the financial services desk for a boutique executive search firm in the Cayman Islands, with a primary focus on private equity, hedge funds and insurance.

Now based in London, Jack is able to combine his passion for finance and decade of experience working with, interviewing and assessing senior business leaders in his role with Confidas People, managing and developing client relationships and adding value through unique, practical insights.

Charlotte Dunn

Management Consultant

Charlotte is an experienced human resources professional with a first class undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management and a masters in Occupational Psychology.

Throughout Charlotte’s career, she has specialised in human resources (both consulting and internal roles), organisational planning, assessment and candidate selection. Charlotte is passionate about understanding human behaviour and applies her academic learning and broad professional experience to ensure due diligence projects produce practical recommendations with real world applications.

Geena Davies

Operations and Engagement Coordinator

Geena joined Confidas People at the start of 2023, and assists in the management of the company’s internal operations. Geena coordinates active engagements with management teams to reduce the administration burden on them or our clients and ensures projects are completed efficiently.

She previously worked in special education, providing assessments of social, emotional and behavioral needs, and supporting the development of children who benefit from additional support.

We pride ourselves on our evidence based approach to people assessment.
